About us
Our Mission
The American Irish Association of Westchester was established in 1974. The mission of the AIA is to fulfill the needs of the Irish-American community of Westchester County on a social, cultural, and educational level. Our members are of Irish and Irish American descent, and we are committed to preserving the foundations of our Irish heritage including, but not limited to, entertainment, music, dancing, athletics, food and literature.
The AIA organizes and participates in various events within Westchester County which promote the Irish culture such as our Annual Heritage Day, the yearly Scholarship Exam for students of Irish and Irish-American descent and our Mass of Remembrance and Dinner Dance.
